The Heart Beat of Deep Tech.

Demo Days are super important for both the investors and the startups. I started my investment career by attending demo days at lots of locations.

For the investor, the key is understanding what the heart beat of the industry is, and for the startup it’s about getting amazing exposure to as many investors as humanly possible.

The Deep Tech Demo Day is no different! We love highlighting the heart beat of deep tech through our online portal, twice a year.

We have had incredibly world changing startups pitch at Deep Tech Demo Day even in just the past few years:

Venus Aerospace: Building a commercial hypersonic jet

Radiant Nuclear: Building Micro-Nuclear Reactors

Unstoppable Web: Decentralizing Identity for the Web

Shipin Systems: Visual Fleet Management software

Gravity: The most consumer-centric jetpack startup

All of these startup, after demo day raised significant amounts of money at significantly higher valuations than were presented on Demo Day.

I believe the highly curated and collaborative approach that Boost VC has taken towards demo day, focusing on making sure that the startups are “Seed or Series A” ready allows for a better product long term. The only way to do this is by having a network of other amazing Deep Tech VCs work with each other on Demo Day! We, as a deep tech industry, do the work to make it easy for early stage investors that attend, to connect with insanely epic startups.

This is why Boost VC will be investing $1m on the day of demo day. We get the best in Deep Tech to participate!

Tomorrow is the Deep Tech Demo Day, if you are an investor I hope you sign up here: www.boost.vc/rsvp

If you are a startup, please connect for funding to Boost VC here.
